Hi all!
Though I have only been at the MTC for six days, it feels like it has been forever! There is so much of God's work to do, and the first presidency wants us to know that! After dropping my stuff at my residence last Wednesday, I went to the classroom and found out that my companion wasn't coming, so I got added into a trio with these two amazing sisters, Sister Westerman and Sister Tobias. It has been great working with them and learning with them.
The other two sisters in our district are also pretty cool. Sisters Jensen and Fitisemanu are going to Hawaii on their mission! They have been the best.

Christmas at the MTC was as awesome as rumor says. Christmas Eve (Sunday) was full of fun devotionals with lots of singing! My companions and I joined the choir and got to sing to Elder Neil L. Andersen yesterday at the Christmas devotional. Then, the MTC mission presidency really surprised us with a really amazing performance from David Archuleta! It was a great way to celebrate the birth of the Savior.
I know that this church is true. This has definitely been one of the hardest weeks of my life, but I made it through! I have felt so discouraged, but I know that the Lord is there to help us through those times. As Theodore Roosevelt said, "Believe you can, and you're halfway there". And, I believe that with Christ by my side, I can do all things.
So Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
